Animal Reiki is an alternative therapy with Reiki healing energy to help animals rebalance on physical, emotional and energetic levels. Both pets and wildlife enjoy and benefit from Reiki, which can help them with many types of emotional, behavioural and physical issues.
All therapy is either in your own home (or other suitable location) within 10 miles of Chesterfield UK, A discretionary mileage charge may be added for distance outside of area.

Pippa our 12-year-old black lab developed a serious limp in her left paw. Lots of pain killers and anti-inflammatory meds and still no real improvement. The vet noticed that her shoulder muscle was wasting away due to lack of use and Pippa looked depressed. X-ray showed mild arthritis but no explanation for the limp. We were faced with an MRI scan that could cost £5,000 and no guarantee of finding the cause. In December 22 Pippa looked so sad I thought she had given up and we were going to lose her. I asked Wendy to see if she could do anything and we set up weekly sessions. At first Pippa was a bit reluctant but Wendy persevered, and Pip started to enjoy them. We immediately noticed a change in her behaviour, she started to look less sad and amazingly her limp started to improve. Fast forward 3 months the limp has gone, and the vet says her shoulder muscle has started to grow back and is no longer wasting away. We are reducing her pain medication and she is a happy lively dog again. I am setting up monthly visits because Pippa really enjoys them. Make of this what you will, sounds too good to be true but we are delighted and under no illusions that whatever Wendy did has worked magic. Thank you, Wendy. At the end of the session, he spontaneously altered his position and curled up, slid off the chair and he promptly fell asleep for 6 hours! Wendy gave my pooch Animal Reiki. One of his problems was that he got very anxious with strangers when they came into the house. Wendy and Benji hit it off straight away though, and are now firm friends. He’s been much calmer and more affectionate. There’s no doubt he really enjoyed his sessions and found them very calming. Wendy was recommended to me by a friend, to provide some Animal Reiki for our Great Dane/Staffy cross 3.5-year-old dog Rosie. Rosie had had a terrible start in life and is absolutely adorable, but she has some behavioural issues which include not being able to be left on her own. She barks frenzied if she sees dogs or people walking past the house, or when anybody comes to door. Wendy came to see Rosie and after about 45 minutes of treatment, Rosie was calm and fell asleep. During the treatment I was fascinated to see that Rosie turned her body around so Wendy was able to work on different areas. Rosie was very excited to see Wendy for her further treatments, and each time she responded well to the treatment allowing Wendy to help her relax and settle quicker each time. Rosie is more responsive to us to calm her down when she barks now and when we take her in the car, she seems to be less ‘on edge’ – previously she would never settle down, but sit up and be alert, no matter how far we went.
