Animal Reiki

Receiving Reiki Helps Animals…

Benefits for offering Reiki to animals:

Distance Animal Reiki

Distance Animal Reiki can help pets with Stress Reduction, Pain Relief, Emotional Healing, Enhanced Relaxation & Sleep, Aiding Recovery from Illness or Surgery, Strengthening the Bond between Pets and their Owners. and Support for Elderly or Terminally Ill Pets.

Distance Animal Reiki is a form of complementary energy healing which aims to promote balance and well-being in animals from a distance, without the need for physical contact between the animal and Reiki Practitioner, as energy is not limited by time or space.  Reiki can work well in conjunction with traditional medical treatment to support the overall well-being of your beloved animal companion, and can be perfect for, busy people, those living outside of Chesterfield, Derbyshire, or for those animals who are particularly anxious with strangers being in their house.

All I will need is a photograph of your pet, to help focus the energy during the session, and to help the me to connect more strongly with your pet’s essence and energy field.

What is Animal Reiki?

Animal Reiki is an amazing and wonderfully rewarding therapy, which animals naturally accept as they are extremely ‘aware of’ and ‘understanding of’ energy which they have used historically to determine whether strangers are friend or foe.   It is a natural, calm treatment which heals by flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and charges them with positive energy.  This promotes the body’s natural process of self-healing which many animals enjoy.

As with humans, Reiki may benefit animals who are suffering with all types of physical, mental or emotional issues. Reiki may be experienced as a flow of energy, mild tingling, warmth, coolness, other sensations, or nothing at all. Some animals may wish to sniff or lick my hands or they may step away slightly. Other animals may come closer and offer me their sore parts.

Even a single Reiki session can make a difference to an animal, however a course of regular treatments may often be more effective. These may be of any frequency depending upon the needs of the animal.  However, any treatment plan will be discussed, agreed, and reviewed as necessary and is always subject to the preferences of the animal’s owner or carer, with the option to change it at any time according to the animal’s progress.

It doesn’t matter where you live, as apart from offering reiki at the animal’s own location for those animals living within 10 miles of my home in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, for any animals and their owners living further afield I can offer ‘Distance Reiki’ using photographs of the animal which is as equally effective as ‘hands on’.

There is sometimes a need to work with both the owner and the animal to help resolve an animal’s issue, as animals are extremely sensitive to energy.  If their owners or carers are stressed or anxious, the animals pick up on this and it can trigger or exaggerate any emotional or behavioural issues they may have.   I therefore offer an animal reiki – owner EFT / Reiki package to help both animals and their owners to heal together.

Pet Sitting

I offer my clients a caring, personalised, and professional pet care service, treating your pet as if it is my own. This can involve me popping in once or twice a day, staying for odd days away or overnight for short holidays, providing feeding, medication, lots of care and attention and walking where relevant.

Based in S43, I always carry out a free, Pre Pet-Sitting check for your pet and I to get to know each other, to complete paperwork and to ensure that whilst he/she is in my care, your pet is looked after as well as you and your pet deserve.
